Moskvitch
Moving away from luxury cars, the Moskvich rather embodied the outsider's view of a flat, uniform auto that was driven by many Soviet citizens in the 2nd half of the 20th century.
Aside from the more fundamental GAZ versions, the Moskvich was arguably the most famous of the cars.
However, because the USSR fell in the early 1990's, most of the Soviet icons went with it and Moskvich were noteworthy casualties. The great age of Soviet cars was consequently reflected to a point at the corporation's life and death.
